Today we were able to visit the Audubon Center of the North Woods to help clear hiking and cross-country ski trails. The weather was gorgeous and the trails were beautiful. I think I can speak for all of us when I say we had a very fulfilling and rewarding experience. Hopefully we can get back to visit this winter and ski on the trails we helped to groom! Teamwork & marshmallow bridge-building skills! October 16, 2014
Greetings To Our ALP Student Supporters, We hope this newsletter finds you well. We would like to thank everyone that was able to drop by for our open house last Tuesday or conferences last Thursday. It was a great pleasure to show you what the students have accomplished so far this year. Remember you are welcome anytime to stop by or set up a time to talk about your students progress. (Click "Read More" on the bottom right to see the rest of this newsletter.) >>>> A big THANK YOU to all students and families that attended our ALP Open House/SloppyJoe Feed. It was great to see you and to share all the projects the students have been working on so far this year.
Today we were able to get out to Changing Gaits for about an hour and spend some time with the gentlemen of the house and the horses. It was a quick little teaser-trip for our bigger outing in a few weeks. (More information about Changing Gaits coming in that post; check back in on Nov. 4th!) |
